The Ultimate American Horror Story Trivia Challenge

The Ultimate American Horror Story Trivia Challenge
      Television

By BrainFall Staff - Updated: April 9, 2024

When FX officially announced they had ordered a pilot episode for a possible series called American Horror Story, created by Glee co-creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, people were intrigued. Both Murphy and Falchuk were excited to finally be doing a TV series in the horror genre, so they knew they would have to do something new and different. They decided to make American Horror Story, an anthology where each season was its own miniseries. Every year, they would bring back the same cast playing entirely new characters in new horrific settings.

After the Fox series began production, Brad Falchuk and Ryan Murphy announced that they wanted to scare viewers. In season one, Murder House, they got the job done, and it led to several seasons featuring serial killers, witches, ghosts, cults, and slasher summer camp students getting brutally murdered.

Do you think you know enough about the series to ace our quiz?

      American Horror Story

American Horror Story is an anthological television series created by the same two men who created Nip/Tuck and Glee, Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. Each season of American Horror Story is a different story than the previous season even though a majority of the cast returns. They might look familiar, but they all play completely different characters. The series has widely been considered a groundbreaking new way of telling a horror story.

Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Wes Bentley, Emma Roberts, and Billie Lourd are just some of American Horror Story's main returning cast. The show has seen so much success on TV that they were able to release a spin-off series called American Horror Stories. The idea behind that series was that each episode would be its own story.
