Who would have thought that the Paramount Network would create a drama series about land developers, a failed political campaign, land grabs, a Native American reservation, lumber corporations, and the largest ranch in the country and have it become one the best new series in television history?
Yellowstone is created by Taylor Sheridan, the same man who played Chief Hale on Sons of Anarchy. Yellowstone is a drama series starring Kevin Costner as John Dutton, the head of the Dutton ranch. The show follows his family drama and his fights with the surrounding National Park and reservation to make sure his land remains in the Dutton family. Every Yellowstone season has surpassed the previous as the show continues to grow in popularity. It appears that most people love watching a show about real-life cowboys, corrupt politicians, dysfunctional families, and Rip Wheeler.

Yellowstone TV Show
The Yellowstone TV show stars Kevin Costner as John Dutton, the owner of the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch. The show follows his family as they all deal with land grabs coming from private investors. The drama series also tells the stories of John Dutton's children — Beth, Kayce, and Jamie — and his employees, who are better known as modern-day cowboys.
No other streaming service features a drama series where the main star is land. The Yellowstone ranch might not be an actor, but it remains the star of Paramount Network's biggest hit show. However, fans will also tell you that Rip, Beth, and Jamie are equally as important to the show's ratings as Kevin Costner's character. Everything about the show just plain works, and people love it.
