      “The West Wing” series creator, Aaron Sorkin did not originally plan on writing for television. In fact, he only created the show after his agent introduced him to the producer, John Wells, and suggested he pitch a political TV drama. Sorkin wrote a script for “The West Wing,” and the rest was history.

      Everything about the fictional show starring President Bartlet, his Chief of Staff, and the rest of his team worked together like clockwork. The show went on to win tons of awards, including being named Outstanding Drama Series at the Emmy’s for four consecutive years.
