The Elder Scrolls series has revolutionized gaming. Bethesda Softworks has always attempted to make Elder Scrolls games immersive and unrestrictive. With each chapter of The Elder Scrolls, the company has redefined just what that means. Of course, the two oldest titles of the series, Arena and Daggerfall, have aged particularly badly. The third game, Morrowind, is considered by many to be the point when Bethesda Game Studios really took off with the series. While Morrowind has also aged significantly, many of the core elements of The Elder Scrolls were perfected here, and many people still consider it to be the best game in the series.
