He has gone from professional wrestling as The Rock to a beloved movie star in popular films like Jungle Cruise, The Scorpion King, Jumanji, Black Adam, Hercules, and more. He played football at the University of Miami and eventually followed his father, Rocky Johnson, and grandfather, Peter Maivia, into professional wrestling. He broke into the ranks as Rocky Maivia, combining his father's and grandfather's wrestling names. He went on to win the WWE championship, the Intercontinental championship as a two-time Intercontinental champion, and he was a Tag Team champion five times.
As The Rock, he fought in some of the most unique matches, like a disqualification match, and some of the most exciting ones in WWE history. The Brahma Bull had fantastic matches with John Cena, Triple H, and Brock Lesnar, to name a few. He battled for WWE Championship matches against John Cena, and in WrestleMania XXVIII, he headlined the main event match of the most paid pay-per-view ever.
His signature move, The Rock Bottom, became legendary. After his wrestling career was done, Johnson focused on movies. He was in The Mummy Returns and The Scorpion King.
