Resident Evil: Village is the eighth installment in the well-known Resident Evil series. Resident Evil is a Japanese horror video game series and franchise that is owned by Capcom, and it was created by Shinji Mikami and Tokuro Fujiwara.
Since the first game was released in 1996, Resident Evil has become a widely known and popular franchise in the West, especially with the latest two releases, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and Resident Evil: Village. Resident Evil: Village is a sequel to Resident Evil 7. It features the characters Mia and Ethan Winters, along with a new cast of bad guys and questionable relationships, such as Chris Redfield. Set a few years into the future from the seventh game, the disease from Biohazard wasn't left entirely behind, leaving Ethan to find his infant daughter and figure out why the peace had to end.
