Which of the Doctor Who Doctors Are You?
The Doctor in Doctor Who is one of the most unique characters ever created. Thanks to The Doctor’s ability to regenerate when they’re about to die, a number of talented people have led the show. Each actor to play the Doctor has put their own spin on the character, and the production teams have ensured that each incarnation of the Doctor has a slightly different personality.
Some Doctors are more famous than others. For instance, Tom Baker’s Fourth Doctor is known to a wide range of people as the one with the long scarf and curly hair. However, every person to play the Doctor has made the part their own, and each performance deserves to be appreciated in its own light. And at the end of the day, each version of The Doctor still has the same upstanding moral compass and stunning intelligence. But does your personality match that of your favorite Doctor? Take this quiz to find out.
Doctor Who Doctors
In Doctor Who, a Time Lord can regenerate at the point of death and take on an entirely new body. With each new body comes different personality traits. Because of this, Doctor Who fans are constantly in conflict over which Doctor is the best. The golden age of Doctor Who is hard to define. Even the title of the most popular Doctor is impossible to state.
For many years, Tom Baker's Fourth Doctor consistently ranked as most people's favorite. Others very much enjoyed the Eighth Doctor, played by Paul McCann. But since it came back, the Tenth Doctor (played by David Tennant), Matt Smith's Eleventh Doctor, and others threaten to take over the title. In fact, some of the older Doctors have even been reassessed. For instance, the Second Doctor, as played by Patrick Troughton, has had a major resurgence in popularity, thanks to Matt Smith claiming him to be his personal favorite Doctor. In 2017, Jodie Whittaker made history as she took on the role of the first female Doctor.
In many ways, the great thing about Doctor Who is its ability to change while still, throughout its 60-year existence, retaining the same feel. And let's face it, the show isn't leaving screens any time soon!
