Stress Quiz: How Stressed Are You?
Our parents warned us about four-letter outbursts. One five-letter word brings out the worst in our vitality and vocabulary: stress.
This quiz reveals just how stressed you are. Place those trembling hands on the keyboard instead of covering your potentially drained face. If you’re shining instead of whining, this should be a painless experience. If you’re too busy to know where your stress levels stand, you’re in the right place! To determine how stressed you are, we objectively analyze your work life, love life, and mental and physical health, all the while getting your own perspective on how you’re doing!
The only judgment being made is how stressed you are. You’ll gain perspective on stress, where personal stress is coming from, and maybe how you can go from shrill shrieks to chill streaks. Don’t take this as official medical advice, but rather, use it to assess what your stress levels are and where you can bring more relaxation into your life.

Stress causes worse damage than those that submit to its inevitability realize. Physical symptoms of stress include chills or an abnormally cold body temperature, difficulty breathing, sleeping, concentrating, and even an upset stomach. Mental symptoms of stress include anxiety, forgetfulness, becoming easily annoyed or aggravated, trouble concentrating, helplessness, and other manifestations. Beyond generalized health, stress specifically correlates with higher blood pressure and more headaches.
There's more to stress than meets the covered eye. Stress opens the dubious door to a hormone called cortisol. For short durations, cortisol can help regulate many natural functions, including sleep, weight, blood pressure, and blood sugar. However, long-term stress creates problematic inflammation.
