Fullmetal Alchemist Characters
Fullmetal Alchemist is a manga and anime series that is most commonly known between two parts: Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. Including films, the entire anime series was produced from 2003 to 2011. The series follows the Eldric brothers, Edward and Alphonse, after a human transmutation attempt goes wrong.
The story takes place in the world of Amestris in the 1800s, where alchemy is a well-known and practiced form of science. After the loss of their mother, the brothers set out to find the Philosopher's Stone and along the way become two of the youngest alchemists in Amestris. With the help of many characters, including best friend Winry Rockbell, the series follows their three-year-long journey.
