Much to the delight of fans everywhere, the brilliant mind of creator Dick Wolf has churned out yet another Law & Order spin-off. With the familiar “dun dun” sound at the beginning of every episode, Law & Order: Organized Crime brings Detective Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) back on the scene on NBC.
After departing the Special Victims Unit (SVU) in 2010 and ending his professional partnership with Detective Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay), Stabler joins the Organized Crime Control Bureau as the New York Police Department’s liaison on Rome, Italy. This new series begins after Stabler suffers a devastating personal loss at the hands of one of the city’s most powerful organized crime syndicates. His efforts to solve this heinous crime bring him back to New York City. There, he briefly reunites with now Captain Olivia Benson in the much-anticipated crossover event and 9th episode of SVU’s 22nd season.
There is a new cast of characters joining Detective Elliot Stabler to combat the forces of organized crime in NYC and around the world. Stabler has a new partner, a new task force team, and a new enemy. Which one do you identify with?
