An example of something a calm person would do is set aside differences and try talking things out rather than immediately wanting to fight someone. They are slower to react in a good way.
Stress and anxiety can make a situation tougher, but a calm person can focus and work through feelings. No one is expecting you to remain calm in every situation possible. But calm people are known to be able to practice coolness in the toughest scenarios. They have a sense of pride in how calm they can be and don't get lost in the troubles and stress. Any progress that's made doesn't get lost in anger. Their brain can see a situation differently. Calm people don't react too quickly.
